More performing Credit Transfers with VTPie

A new software architecture that makes the technological infrastructure of banks more secure and efficient, assuring the highest level of data and transactions security: from credit transfer management to other payment systems and direct debits.
Its name is VtPie and it is already used by some Italian primary credit institutions. It consists in a platform, entirely developed by Value Team Finance, which has obtained the certification of security from Department of Informatics of the University of Turin.
The solution is completely based on Java technology, and furthermore it is Soa oriented, i.e. it is able to support the use of internet services, assuring this way the interoperability of different systems.

«This software can significantly reduce the standard implementation times. For instance, the development and deployment times of SEPA Credit Transfer procedure are reduced to only three solar months» – explains Salvatore Borgese, Value Team Senior Vice President and manager of the VTPie project.
VTPie is made up of one kernel module consisting of different applicative engines, which are able to interact with all the other banking applications. A platform that is already in use and already operating in some banking companies, which have decided to start «an innovative and ambitious program – as concludes Salvatore Borgese - that will lead to the complete renewal of IT Infrastructures regarding payment systems and direct debits».
