VTPie is brand new in bank information systems for the management of payment, collection areas and multi-currency services.
It is a totally Java technology based software solution – lightweight, flexible and multichannel interaction models, - and it is fully SOA oriented, thus overcoming static architecture silos thorough new open architecture, based on reusable components. It acts primarily on time reduction and on standard implementation cost reduction, for example deployment of SEPA credit transfers procedure reduced to just three months, leverages reduced operating costs for application and infrastructure maintenance.
VTPie is developed by Value Team Finance, the finance market software product development Company at Value Team, Consulting and IT Solutions, Value Partners Group. It is certified for quality and security by the Computer Science Faculty, Turin University.

VTPie is composed of a Kernel module (diverse application engines: transactional, managerial and information) which works on both vertical modules (Payment and Collection areas applications, Multi-currency systems to support banking processes) in the development of new information systems (e.g. first module multi-currency Credit Transfers) and the adapters related to integration and communications with the remaining banking application sphere.
VTPie and its technological models have already been chosen by Banca Popolare di Sondrio and Unicredit Global Information Services, which cooperated with development and fine tuning.
Banca Popolare di Sondrio decided to commence an innovative, ambitious program of total renewal of IT infrastructure for payments, collections and multi-currency services: the SEPA Credit Transfers management module has been performing since December 2008 and, in the first quarter of 2009, integrated management of all other types of Credit Transfer (Italy, World) managed by the bank will be activated in the same application form.
Unicredit Global Information Services has also commenced an IT infrastructure renewal program within the GPE (Group Payments Engine) to efficiently manage payments in the European area, and augment profitability.
Reduced operating costs and a more flexible, rapid implementation will enable Unicredit Group to differentiate their offer at the European level.
