VTPie is made of four macro-components:
- Layout Engine: incoming automatic/manual orders reception, in standard form
- User Interaction Engine: customer orders capture by channels and management of the bank manual operations (input, corrections and restarts), or web services exposition, to integrate proprietary front ends
- Operations Engine: collection of active and control components, managed by manual or automatic work-flows
- Adapter Engine: stateless control components and bank systems updating
